America's Second Harvest
America's Second Harvest secures and donates 2 billion pounds of donated food and grocery products annually. By working with America's Second Harvest Food Bank, Essex was able to feed many families in need within our community. In 2010, Essex employees donated over $4,118 through cash donations.

Rebuilding Together
Rebuilding Together is a national nonprofit organization that brings volunteers and communities together to rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners. Essex team members volunteered in a public assistance effort to help rebuild Oakland. Team members participated in prepping and painting the outside of a house.

Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots is a campaign conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps that collects toys for needy children in the community. In 2009, Essex employees gathered over 2,000 toys company-wide for children.
